As fans clamor to get their hands on the most advanced member of the Xbox family, demand for the less powerful Xbox Series S is lower, and thus the console is easy to find in stock almost everywhere.
However, the Xbox Series S is a brilliant gaming machine and a viable alternative to the more expensive Xbox Series X. The console is backward compatible and runs the same next-gen Xbox games, but with some of the fancier graphics options scaled back. What’s Happening to Amazon’s Xbox Series X Stock?
Aside from a small restocking in early January, Amazon has been losing the Xbox Series X since late last year. Just before Christmas, the retailer treated shoppers to a huge restocking, the largest and longest lasting we’ve seen from Amazon since its launch, suggesting the well has run dry.
The world’s largest online retailer is set to have new PS5 stock this week, so we expect new Xbox stock to follow.

The Xbox Series X is currently out of stock on Game. The retailer had plenty of stock on hand Tuesday, suggesting we’ll have to wait another couple of weeks before it hits shelves again.
That said, Game’s approach to restocking is hectic, with lots of repeat drops in quick succession and dozens of very similar bundles to choose from, so we’re keeping an eye on the retailer this morning.
