Shocking images show the scene of an alleged attack during which at least ten people were injured.
The incident began yesterday at around 7.45am when a victim was allegedly attacked with a pair of scissors at her home in Bedworth, Warks.
A neighbor who lives in the quiet cul-de-sac where the incident took place claimed an attacker tried to gain entry to the property and stabbed the woman in the face.
Images released in the aftermath of the alleged incident show a bloodied and smashed door with droplets of blood splattered over the floor as the attack continued towards Bedworth town centre.
A 76-year-old neighbor who lives next door to the first unnamed victim said she heard a bang in the morning but thought her neighbor had “just dropped something.”
She said: “The lady who lives next door to me was stabbed.
“She managed to get him off her, because he tried to enter the house. She managed to get loose, but she was attacked in the face.
“I did hear something bang, but I just thought she had dropped something. Now I know it was her banging the door.
“She managed to close her door and lock it quickly. Later on, she had to go to hospital for stitches.
“There is blood all on her door and a trail of blood all outside my house.”
The suspect was wielding a pair of scissors when he is alleged to have stabbed the victim in the face, according to the Sun.
