Greater Manchester has produced its fair share of famous faces.
Some of the best talent grew up in our region, from top athletes, world-class musicians, and award-winning actors.
Take Sir Ben Kingsley, for example, or Sir Ian McKellen, both of whom have forged remarkable careers in film, or the Gallagher brothers of the iconic band Oasis.
