Two young people, one of them a minor, died last night in separate brawls that occurred in the capital with a difference of less than two hours, according to police sources.
The first homicide was recorded in the Centro district, in front of the Kapital nightclub, on Atocha street near the Carlos V roundabout. A 15-year-old adolescent was stabbed to death in the left hemithorax, after being attacked by a group of young people, according to the first investigations.
Three passers-by who were in the area started CPR and even used a local semi-automatic defibrillator. Several endowments from the Samur-Civil Protection moved to the place, which continued the resuscitation work for half an hour, but in the end they could only certify the death, according to a spokeswoman for Emergencies Madrid. The large machete used in the crime was thrown on the sidewalk. A Samur psychologist treated a friend of the victim at the scene and also went to the deceased’s home to communicate the sad news to the family.
Just when the toilets were attending to this notice, the Samur headquarters received another notice that a 25-year-old man of Spanish nationality had also been stabbed at 10:40 p.m. during a brawl in a park on San Mario street (Usera). ), on a road parallel to Avenida de Andalucía and near the 12 de Octubre hospital.
A mobile ICU and several managers on duty at the Samur went to attend to the victim. This presented at least one stab wound in the lumbar area. The wound must have affected some vital organ or some important blood vessel. The injured man was in cardiorespiratory arrest. Doctors tried to revive him, but were unsuccessful. The National Police arrested a 21-year-old Spanish man at the scene as the alleged author of the stabbing. Last night he was awaiting questioning by the agents of the Homicide Group to clarify what triggered the deadly stabbing.

After being stabilized, he was transferred with a serious prognosis to La Paz hospital.
These two deaths bring the homicides registered in the capital to three so far this year. The first occurred shortly after the beginning of the year, when a 19-year-old boy died at 10:50 am on January 1 after receiving five stab wounds in a fight between youth gangs registered in the district of Villaverde. The National Police arrested 10 adolescents on the spot as alleged perpetrators of the brawl. Among those arrested was a seriously injured man.
