A devastated mother wants to publicize a picture of her 12-year-old daughter who died, to raise awareness about bullying.

Rachel Halliwell revealed her daughter Semina took her own life shortly after an interview with a police officer and died on June 12, last year, after spending four nights in hospital.

Before she died Semina a first year pupil at high school claimed she had been raped by an older boy who said she had groomed her over social media.

Now her heartbroken mum, Rachel, has released a photograph of Semina taken in hospital just days before she died, as she raised concerns about how police had handled her daughter’s case.

A baby has been named Britain’s third-largest newborn after he arrived weighing more than a stone – and is already the same size as his 16-month-old sibling.

Mum Cherrall Mitchell gave birth to her son Alpha Stone Mitchell via C-section, on October 28, 2021, weighing in at a whopping 14lbs 15oz.

Now five-months-old, the baby boy is 1st 10lbs, with his parents crediting his growth to his hearty breakfasts of porridge, according to the Mirror.

A petition calling on the UK Government to increase State Pension payments to £19,760 per year, the equivalent to £380 each week, has received more than 30,000 signatures of support and is currently awaiting an official response from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). ).

The suggested increase would bring State Pension payments into line with the recent rise on April 1 to the National Living Wage, which is now £9.50 an hour for people aged over 23 working a 40-hour week – the equivalent to an annual salary of £ 19,760.
