It was reported that Coronation Street star Tina O’Brien was embroiled in a heated row with her ex Ryan Thomas who reportedly accused her of smashing his car wing mirror a baseball bat
Tina O’Brien has returned to social media after her ex Ryan Thomas reportedly accused her of ‘smashing his car wing mirror with a baseball bat’.
Last night, it was alleged that the couple, who met while starring on Coronation Street, were embroiled in a furious 1am row last Sunday.
According to The Sun, the exes have not spoken since.
Following the reports, Tina took to Instagram this morning to share a smiling selfie.
The mum, who shares daughter Scarlett with ex Ryan, was seen wrapped up warm in a pink bobble hat, shades and a scarf in the picture as she called herself a ‘rugby mum.’
Last night it was reported that Tina became embroiled in a row with her ex Ryan last weekend.
A source told The Sun: “Tina, who was at a pal’s house party, came out into the street to meet him as he drove up. Soon after that his car was damaged with the baseball bat.”
Reportedly, paintwork from Ryan’s Range Rover had scratched and the wing mirror had been “smashed off” during the row.
The insider described it as “quite a disturbing incident” and that Ryan drove away as soon as he could and that Ryan is furious.
It is believed that Ryan has since taken the vehicle to be repaired.
The pair first got together in 2002 after falling in love with the set of Coronation Street.
The romance was confirmed a year after Tina split from co-star Bruno Langley, who played Ryan’s on-screen brother Todd.
Tina admitted she’d tried to hide her feelings for Ryan, who found fame as mechanic Jason Grimshaw, but the pair ended up snogging on a night out.
“We’ll be together for ever, fingers crossed. I can’t see myself with anyone else,” she said at the time.
The couple later announced they were expecting a child together, but sadly split eight months after Tina gave birth to daughter Scarlett.
Tina later moved on with business developer Adam Crofts, who she married in 2016.
While Ryan went on to find love with TOWIE star Lucy Mecklenburgh, after they met on Bear Gryll’s Celebrity Island.
Tina and Ryan stayed on good terms as they co-parented daughter Scarlett, with Ryan invited to Tina’s wedding and the pair said to have spent Christmases together.
They also came together to celebrate daughter Scarlett landing a role on the revamped Waterloo Road, which will return to screens later this year.
She will be starring alongside uncle Adam Thomas, who has also been confirmed to join the new series.
