Cadena SER has had access to the document of the new Sports Law. These are the main aspects that the draft includes:
- Sport and physical activity become a right.
- It regulates equality in sport: 1) Parity is required in administrative positions. 2) Equal opportunities in sport. 3) The law protects sportswomen when they become pregnant, among other cases.
- Eliminate any discrimination for the LGTBI collective.
- The obligation to be a SAD to participate in professional competitions is eliminated.
- The 15% bank guarantee for clubs that are not SAD disappears and the clubs will establish the percentage of the guarantee.
- The regulation of professional leagues is deepened for greater transparency and economic control.
