The Executive’s claim is that it be enforceable between November 27 and January 6 in discos, nightclubs, establishments with special licenses and restaurants with more than 50 diners.
The Government of Navarra will propose the application of the covid passport, for its judicial ratification to the Superior Court of Justice of Navarra (chnya), a measure that will be presented to the Chamber in the middle of this week, as EITB Media has learned. In case of approval, it will work in certain spaces and cases, such as restaurants and nightlife venues and mass events with consumption.
Likewise, the Department of Health of the Provincial Government insists on making a call for vaccination of people who have not done so, who can go without an appointment to FOREM facilities, in addition to continuing to comply with preventive measures.
The covid passport, if it has the endorsement of the TSJN, will be applied in the restaurants and venues where a restaurant service is offered with a capacity greater than 50 diners, discos and nightclubs, establishments with a café-show license and bars with a special license. In the latter, it will be requested from 00:00 hours. Likewise, the document will be checked at mass events with the consumption of food and / or drink held indoors. If the measure is approved, it would be in force between Saturday November 27 and Thursday January 6th of 2022, both inclusive.
The accreditation can be downloaded from the Personal Health Folder (CPS), being able to be stored on the mobile phone or printed, and contemplates three cases: vaccination certificate (complete guideline), test certificate (negative PCR in the last 72 hours or test of negative antigens in the last 48 hours) and certificate of recovery (it is issued after having passed the covid-19 and its validity is 180 days). The information will be specified and expanded on the Open Government page.
The Government of Navarra has worked and debated the measure with the different sectors mentioned, with whom it has held meetings over the last two weeks, as well as with the municipal area of the Autonomous Community through the Navarra Federation of Municipalities and Councils (FNMC).
In addition to the implementation of the certificate, the Regional Executive will develop an awareness and sensitization campaign in individual preventive matters against the virus, which will influence the importance of complying with the use of the mask in indoor and outdoor spaces where it is not possible to keep a meter and a half away and avoid situations that carry the greatest risk of transmission.
The covid passport is proposed at a time of increasing incidence and transmission of the virus in Navarra (365 cases per 100,000 inhabitants to 14 days). In yesterday’s session, 198 new positives. The hospital situation remains stable, although there is a slightly upward trend in occupancy.
