However, the hospital pressure is currently controlled: there is 27 people admitted to intensive care units, while a month ago there were 26, a very similar number. Of course, the number of patients admitted to the ward for covid has increased significantly: from 48 cases a month ago to 72 today.
In addition, there are currently 25 closed classrooms in application of the anticovid protocol. Yesterday the existence of a outbreak in the municipal school of Astigarraga which has led to the closure of 7 classrooms in the center.
On Wednesday, the Town Hall of the Alava municipality of Salvatierra agreed, among other measures, to suspend several of the activities organized by the corporation, the closure of playgrounds and the reduction of capacity in the library and swimming pools due to the high number of infections in the town.
The Basque Government, for its part, yesterday published a note with the sanitary measures adopted with the aim of preventing the spread of covid-19 on the occasion of the celebration of markets and traditional fairs at this time of year.
84 new cases of covid-19 in Navarra
The Department of Health of the Department of Navarra detected 84 new cases on Friday compared to 74 on Thursday. 1963 tests were carried out and 4.3% were positive.
