Strictly: Rose and Giovanni are crowned the winners
Giovanni Pernice has raised a few eyebrows among fans after he interacted with Strictly Come Dancing partner Rose Ayling-Ellis’ latest Instagram post.
The 31-year-old professional dancer and the 27-year-old EastEnders actress were crowned winners of Strictly last month after twisting, twirling and skipping their way to the live final.
Fans of the show have been heartened by the friendship that blossomed between Giovanni and Rose as they carved their path to the final across the course of the series.
And fans have been obsessively monitoring any and all interactions that the pair have with each other – with a recent Instagram post driving fans wild.

Taking to the social media platform, Rose shared a collection of photos from the previous 12 months – including selfie’s with EastEnders co-stars and footage and snaps of herself with Giovanni on Strictly.
Making an address to her followers for New Year, Rose wrote alongside the images: “Stay afraid, but do it anyway. What’s important is the action. You don’t have to wait to be confident. Just do it and eventually the confidence will follow.”
She continued: “That definitely what 2021 did for me, the year of growth, discovery and surprises.”

And she added: “I cannot wait to see what 2022 would bring.”
Reacting to the post, dancer Giovanni replied with a string of red heart emojis – with fans noting that he added nine of the emojis.
Taking this as an analogy for Strictly Come Dancing scoring, some fans were disappointed that the star hadn’t awarded Rose just one more heart to bring the number of emoji’s up to a grand top score of 10.
One followers commented: “It’s a ten…”

With another adding: “She’s not having a 9 absolutely not.”
And a third fan urged the dance professional to: “add another [heart emoji] for a perfect 10” – while adding a heart-eyed face emoji of their own.
Giovanni praised Rose for their success when they lifted the Glitterball Trophy on the BBC One dance show at the end of last year.
He gushed at the time: “It’s incredible. Thank you to this beautiful lady that made all my dreams come true.
“You became the best dancer, the best teammate. You are a dream Rose, thank you for everything.”
Meanwhile, Rose has been tipped to become a millionaire and find success in Hollywood if she ditches her role as a soap star to turn her attention to more high-brow entertainment.

Producer Andy Loveday, of UK-based movie-makers Carnaby International, wants to sign Rose up.
He said: “Rose is an extremely talented individual and if she makes the right choices she will definitely be a movie star. I’ve got three films next year and I would love her to be in one of them.”
And another film insider said: “Her pulling power is enormous. She could earn £1million in her first year if she leaves EastEnders and goes into films.”
