Top Ten rapper and world famous YouTuber KSI who boasted “I will never get Covid” has tested positive for the virus, just over a day later.

KSI, whose real name is Olajide Olayinka Williams JJ Olatunji, posted a photo of two positive lateral flow tests on his social media alongside his earlier post and the caption “Mad ting.”

His diagnoses came 38 hours after his twitter brag.

The 28-year-old has since taken to social media to share his experiences of having the virus, alongside promoting his YouTube group Sidemen’s new vodka.

Fellow member of the Sidemen, Ethan Payne, commented: “24 hours manifestation, what crystals you holding bro?”

On December 14 Olatunji posted: “On a real though, how have I never had covid?”, followed by “I will never get covid” six minutes later.

This comes as the UK reports nearly 90,000 new Covid cases – a 31.4% rise on last week.

In a recorded message on his page, he said: “Ayo covid relax! You ain’t have to beat me up like this man!

“At the end of 2021, man was almost there. Man almost came through without getting covid, and I jinxed it!

Olatunji, who went to the £22,170 a year Berkhamsted School in Hertfordshire, started his YouTube career in 2008, and has since grown his main account to more than 23.6 million subscribers.

YouTuber Callux, who has nearly four million subscribers, commented “I day later LOOOOOOOOOOL”, and retweeted the post with the caption “I will never get £100m in my bank account tomorrow.”

He has since taken to social media to share his experiences of having the virus

Others posted photos of comments under the original tweet, with one saying “God forbid this ages like milk” and another joking “Aight I got 50 he gets Covid within the next 2 weeks”.

KSI later tweeted an update that “I’m actually kinda ok now lol”, although this was followed less than an hour later by “I take it back, the drugs are wearing off”.

And he replied to concerned friends: “Yeah I’ll live man. Stupid ass virus.”
