The mum of Britain’s largest family has kicked off Christmas festivities with a special Elf on the Shelf themed breakfast for her dozens of children.

Sue Radford, who has 22 children with husband Noel, chronicles the lives of her hefty brood on Instagram and Youtube.

To mark the first day of December, she organised a breakfast to welcome Santa’s naughty elf to their huge 10-bedroom home in Morecambe, Lancashire.

Taking to Instagram, she wrote: “So excited to see the children’s faces in the morning. Absolutely love this time of year!”

Sue and Noel, 50, are parents to Chris, 32, Sophie, 27, Chloe, 26, Jack, 24, Daniel, 22, Luke, 21, Millie, 20, Katie, 19, James, 18, Ellie, 16, Aimee, 15, Josh, 14, Max, 12, Tillie, 11, Oscar, 10, Casper, nine, Hallie, six, Phoebe, five, Archie, four, Bonnie, three, and Heidie, one.

The couple has previously said they are proud of the fact that they keep their family going without relying on benefits.

Instead, the stars of the Channel 5 series 22 Kids and Counting look after their whopping clan with the proceeds from their pie shop and YouTube channel.

The sheer logistical enormity of running the Radford family has made them popular and captivating watching.

Recently Sue showed off her home after she and her partner Noel put trees up in their living room, kitchen and on their front porch to feel the festive spirit.

She wrote on Instagram: “Christmas has landed in the Radford house.”

For previous Christmas celebrations, each Radford child has around £100-£250 spent on them, costing their parents over £5,000 in gifts.

To make sure there are no mix-ups on the day, Sue has bought each of them a personalised sack to keep them all in.

Sue hand wraps each gift she buys and it has previously been reported she can wrap around 20 presents every 15 minutes.

She and Noel get through around 70 rolls of wrapping paper each year to cater for their massive brood.

The Radfords have Christmas food to budget for too, with just the festive food costing another £300.

Britain’s largest family recently welcomed a brand-new addition to their already huge family, as Sue announced that her eldest son Chris has become a father for the third time.

Sue and Noel recently claimed that they have spent more than £1 million raising their 22 children.

But when asked if the family were rich during a Q&A on their YouTube channel, Sue said: “Absolutely not, we’re definitely not secret millionaires.

“To me rich would be having the big mansion, the flash cars and quite a few hundred thousand in the bank, to me that would be rich but we are not that.”
