Demonstrations are called in San Sebastián, Bilbao, Vitoria-Gasteiz, Pamplona and Baiona, in addition to other mobilizations in the towns.
As every year, on the occasion of International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, today, November 25, the Feminist Movement of Euskal Herria has called mobilizations throughout the Basque geography.
The main manifestations will take place in the afternoon in Pamplona, Vitoria-Gasteiz, Bayonne, Bilbao and Saint Sebastian under the motto ‘¡Lives free of sexist violence now! ‘. The squares and streets of all the Basque towns will also be dyed purple.
Likewise, the main institutions have once again convened concentrations for this 25S. Thus, several members of the Basque Government, including the Basque Government spokesperson, Bingen Zupiria, and the advisers Beatriz Artolazabal, Josu Erkoreka, Olatz Garamendi and Arantxa Tapia They will participate in the rally to be held at 12:00 in the Basque Parliament. The manifestation of Bilbao feminist movement will begin at 19:30 hours in Sacred Heart. SAINT SEBASTIAN
In San Sebastián, the feminist collective has convened a demonstration from the Boulevard. The march will go out at 7:30 p.m. and will walk the streets of the city.
PAMPLONA
The demonstration will depart at 20:00 hours from the Plaza Baluarte and it will end in the Paseo de Sarasate.
VITORIA-GATEIZ
The manifestation of the Feminist Movement of Vitoria-Gasteiz will take place at 7:00 p.m. at the Iparralde Civic Center.
BAIONA
In Baiona, the demonstration will start at 6:00 p.m. from Plaza Moracín.
