In 2017, Prince Harry made his first official appearance with then-girlfriend Meghan Markle at the Invictus Games in Toronto – and much was made of the shirt that Meghan wore for the event
The Invictus Games are clearly close to the hearts of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The pair are currently in The Hague for the 2022 Games, which began today – and they were pictured having fun taking part in a driving challenge and being driven round by youngsters on mini Land Rovers.
The first Invictus Games the pair attended together was in Toronto in 2017, with Harry picking the event to formally introduce Meghan to the world as his girlfriend.
Just under a year before they were married, the couple made their first-ever official appearance together at the Games in the Canadian city, where Meghan was living filming hit TV show Suits.
They popped along to a tennis event with Meghan making a very intriguing outfit choice.

She teamed a pair of ripped blue jeans and ballet pumps with a crisp white shirt designed by her friend Misha Nonoo.
And the $185 shirt set tongues wagging after it emerged the name of the top was called the ‘husband’ shirt.
At the time, Meghan and Harry weren’t engaged and many wondered if the shirt was a way of signaling what was to come.
The Daily Mail even noted it was “perhaps a subtle indication by Meghan that she won’t be a single lady for much longer.”
During their appearance, the happy couple held hands as they walked towards the court and smiled and exchanged small talk with each other.

The pair were said to be delighted with their first public appearance, which made headlines across the world.
A royal source said at the time: “It was a calm fun atmosphere for the competitors and their families which was the most important thing.”
And just several months later, Harry and Meghan announced their engagement to the world before marrying at St George’s Chapel in Windsor in May 2018.
Since then, the pair have been working royals, quit the Firm, welcomed two children and now live in California.
However, it emerged on Thursday evening that the pair had secretly visited both the Queen and Prince Charles at Windsor Castle.
And they told the 95-year-old monarch that she will get to see her great-grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet, “in the near future.”
Senior royal sources have described the meetings as “incredibly warm and good natured” and “very cordial”.
The Duke and Duchess told Her Majesty their plan to return so the Queen can spend time with 11-month-old Lilibet and Archie, two, who are believed to be in the US.
A source close to the Sussexes said: “Both the Duke and Duchess are very mindful the Queen is getting older and has had health issues associated with her great age.
“They have made it clear they are certainly planning to return to see the Queen with their family in the near future.”
