Kerry Katona says she ‘feels insecure’ after car stolen in 2021

Kerry Katona has opened up about her plans to move house after “not feeling safe” due to her ordeal last year.

In December, Kerry was completely devastated when her Range Rover was stolen while she was out shopping, and 11 days later her fiancé Ryan Mahoney’s car was stolen from outside her home.

In his last column for New! Magazine, Kerry talked about wanting to move house, while sympathizing with another celebrity who went through something similar.

Kerry spoke about Denise Van Outen, who recently revealed that thieves broke into her home and looted her underwear.

Earlier in the month, Denise revealed that thieves broke into her home and sneaked through her underwear drawer and even stole her sex toy.

The blonde bombshell said it left a lasting effect on her, something Kerry clearly relates to.

In her column, the former Atomic Kitten star wrote: “She [Denise] says he had to take steps to make his home safer. I can totally sympathize with Denise as I had to increase our security after our robbery.”

She went on to explain that “it really is a horrible feeling to know that someone has been in your house”, before explaining that she felt “raped” and still doesn’t feel safe even though it happened weeks ago.

In her column, Kerry then revealed that she can’t wait to move out of her current address and buy a house with her fiancé.

“We are currently renting where we are,” he told readers, before explaining how he had pondered buying the place they are renting but now decided against it.

He concluded by saying that he thinks they will stay in the same area they are in now.

In December, when the cars were stolen, Kerry said: “Two cars went missing in 11 days. They’ve been completely watched and targeted. It makes me feel really insecure that they’ve been in my house.”

The former Atomic Kitten member then added, “If I’m being honest, I’m a bit regretful that I went back north.”

This comes as Kerry recently celebrated her daughter Lilly McFadden’s birthday.

The teenager, who just turned 19, is the daughter of the reality TV star, 41, and her ex-husband Brian McFadden, also 41, who were married between 2002 and 2006.

In one of the snaps shared by Kerry, her daughter could be seen walking down a street in a pink dress, a photo that left fans and friends having to take a second look.

Vanessa Feltz, 59, wrote: “She’s your doppelganger. Brilliant and beautiful. Happy birthday honey.” This sentiment was shared by several other followers.

“She’s the spitting image of you when you were her age,” someone else said.

Lilly recently turned 19 and fans were quick to comment on how much she looks like her mom.
