Katie Price and her 19-year-old son, Harvey Price, are going to be involved in a meet and greet at a Halifax nightclub, that sells drinks for 75p, next month
Katie Price has been accused of exploiting her disabled son Harvey, after it was revealed that the duo are going to be making a personal appearance at a nightclub.
The mother, 43, and son, 19, have been booked to do a meet and greet with clubbers at Acapulco Nightclub in Halifax, West Yorkshire, and it is expected that they will be given a fee.
In a bid to pull in punters, the nightclub announced that Harvey – who has Prader-Willi Syndrome, an underactive thyroid, diabetes, is autistic and partially blind – and Katie will be at the venue on April 29 and fans can chat and pose for snaps with the pair, if they purchase a ticket.
Acapulco Nightclub took to social media to announce the news by sharing: “We are excited to announce that we have a Live PA coming soon with Katie & Harvey Price!
“More details to be released soon with tickets going on sale on Monday 9am.”
The club has also advertised that drinks will cost 75p before 11 pm on the evening of the event.
Several social media users were not impressed with the thought of Harvey being involved in the personal appearance.
“Harvey’s only going to be there because she wouldn’t be booked on her own. She’s exploiting him again,” one commented.
Another person typed: “Harvey’s only going to be there because she wouldn’t be booked on her own. She’s exploiting him again.”
Another joined in: “Time to get in touch with West Sussex adult social services again. I smh with this woman and the companies that are itching to get on the exploitation gravy train.”
More concerned fans echoed: “I feel so sorry for Harvey, doesn’t that poor lad get any privacy at all, I just feel he kinda gets used for his mums own agenda, eg, publicity for herself, and a paycheck” and ” @acapulcohalifaxS hocking that she would take him to a nightclub with flashing lights and loud music. What is wrong with her?”
And it seems that it is not just fans who are worried about Harvey being taken to the club.

A source told OK! that it’s “irresponsible” of Katie and that Harvey will “be on edge.”
“It’s definitely irresponsible from Katie,” the source told the magazine.
“She’ll have to be on the edge of her seat the whole night, as you just don’t know how he’s going to react with loud noises, doors banging, a lot of people, talking and lots of flashes and cameras.”
They added: “He’ll definitely be on edge. It will be hard for him to adjust to surroundings like that when he’s so used to either being by himself or with just one other person.”
The owner of the nightclub, Simon Jackson, told the Halifax Courier: “Acapulco are providing Harvey with a secluded area and will do everything we possibly can to make sure Harvey feels comfortable, so he can enjoy the nightlife experience just like everyone else. We’re looking forward to meeting him.”
