According to experts, Prince George is only just beginning to understand his destiny as a future king and mum Kate Middleton is starting to prepare him for his royal role
He may only be eight years old – but Prince George’s future has already been mapped out for him.
It’s his destiny to one day be King and play a pivotal role in ensuring the future of the monarchy.
And according to one royal expert, his mum the Duchess of Cambridge has already got a plan for George’s journey into a royal life – and she taught him one vital lesson on duty last year.
Last July, George made a rare public appearance with Kate and his dad Prince William in the royal box at Wembley to watch England take on Italy in the final of the Euros.

Cameras caught the young prince celebrating wildly with his parents when England went ahead early in the match.
And at the end of the game, after England lost on penalties, his forlorn face summed up the heartbreak of the nation.
At the game, George wore a grown-up suit that mirrored his dads, leading fans to ask why he wasn’t allowed to wear an England shirt like other youngsters of his age.

But according to royal author Duncan Larcombe, it was Kate who insisted on the suit – and for a very good reason.
He told OK! : “William was apparently keen on the idea [of wearing a football shirt], but it was Kate, the former commoner, who said no. She was showing George that being ’on duty’ requires a different approach… he has to learn to don the royal armour.
“That doesn’t mean hiding his personality or feelings though – so George was encouraged to leap up and celebrate England scoring, to roar and wave and hug his mum and dad like any normal lad. And even to shed a tear when it all ended in heartbreak.
“George is only just beginning to understand his destiny, but Kate has got the journey planned.”
Of course, George and Kate’s other two children Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis will be gearing up for Sunday, when their mum celebrates her milestone 40th birthday.
It is believed that Kate is in for a special day of low-key celebrations surrounded by her family and friends.
But according to one royal expert, she could be in for a very big birthday party that will be thrown by the Queen herself.
Royal author Ingrid Seward says she is absolutely certain that the monarch will eventually throw Kate a big birthday bash.
And it could be a joint party with William, who also turns 40 in June after the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
Ingrid told True Royalty TV’s The Royal Beat: “I think it will be low key this weekend, and then later in the year – probably after the platinum jubilee celebrations are over – she and William, whose birthday is on June 21st, will have a joint party and really celebrate then.
“I’m absolutely certain the Queen will throw a bash for them.”
