Jason Mamoa is reportedly living in a RV following his shock split from wife Lisa Bonet.
The Aquaman actor and Lisa, 53, shocked many when they took to social media earlier this month to announce their plans to divorce after being together for 17 years.
Since the two revealed that they were “separating in marriage” after “feeding and growing from the seismic shifts that occurred”, it appears that Jason, 42, has been living in his $750K Ford RV, parked in your friend’s yard.
Leaving the motorhome earlier this week, the Game of Thrones actor looks bedraggled as he wandered around without his wedding ring, The Mirror writes.
While tending to his beloved RV, Jason managed to look every inch the Hollywood heartthrob in a pair of dark-rimmed glasses, a ripped T-shirt, and faded jeans.
It is not known if the filmmaker has officially moved out of the California home he previously shared with soon-to-be ex-wife Lisa and their two children.
Speaking to The Sun, a source close to the star said of Jason and his RV: “He stays in it quite often and has opted to sleep there rather than get a hotel on set so he can be on the beach.” a private jet, kind of luxury resort.
While living in an RV doesn’t normally scream glamour, the Khal Drogo actor’s pride and joy is no ordinary camper.
The custom EarthRoamer XV-LTi 026 is said to cost around $750,000 and the star loves it so much he even wore it to the Aquaman premiere in 2018.
Jason and Lisa met at a jazz club in 2005, just before the 6-foot-5 star rose to worldwide fame thanks to his role in Game of Thrones.
The couple quickly welcomed two children into the world together, with daughter Lola being born in 2007 and son Nakoa-Wolf arriving the following year.
Jason is also stepfather to Lisa’s daughter, Zoe Kravitz, whom she shares with ex-husband Lenny Kravitz.
Prior to his split from Lisa, Jason’s friendly relationship with rocker Lenny was often praised and commented on, with the two stars even sometimes referring to each other as family.
Lisa was regularly called Jason’s wife, but the couple didn’t officially marry until 2017.
The couple is said to have exchanged vows at their home in Topanga, California.
Sadly, in January 2022, their romantic relationship came to an end, with a joint statement revealing the shocking news that the couple would be divorcing.
In a lengthy post, Jason wrote to his 16.5 million Instagram followers: “We have all felt the pressure and changes of these transformative times… A revolution is unfolding ~ and our family is no exception.. … feeling and growing from the seismic changes that are happening.” .
“And so ~ We share our family news that we are separating in marriage.
“The love between us continues, evolving into the ways it wishes to be known and lived. We free each other ~to be who we are learning to be… Our unwavering devotion to this sacred life and our Children.
“Teach our children what is possible ~ Live prayer. May love prevail.”
“We’re sharing this not because we think it’s newsworthy, but so that~ as we move forward in our lives, we can do so with dignity and honesty.”
