ITV The Chase: Rick Wakeman’s four marriages including to a Page 3 model and suffering three heart attacks in his 20s

Rick Wakeman will take on The Chaser today as he attempts to out run them and grab some cash for his chosen charity.

The show will include usual host Bradley Walsh, as well as other celebs Catherine Tyldesley, Levi Roots, and Chris McCausland.

The prize pot could be worth thousands, so they will have to work as a team to answer questions against the clock and pull off a great escape.

Wakeman, 72, is probably best known for his musical exploits as a shaggy haired keyboardist who has played with rock and pop giants like David Bowie, Elton John, and Ozzy Osbourne, and was a member of prog rock band Yes.

He also had a successful solo career spanning three decades, and a popular radio show on Planet Rock in the noughties.

While achieving international fame the keyboardist has also become known for his colorful personal life – Wakeman has married four times and has six children.

After marrying his first wife Rosaline Woolford in 1970, aged 20, the couple had two sons, Oliver and Adam before divorcing in 1977.

Wakeman then married Swiss-born Danielle Corminboeuf in January 1980 in the West Indies and lived with her in Montreux but were divorced the same year.

The couple did produce one child called Benjamin, born in 1978.

Wakeman then hit the headlines in 1981, when he met former model Nina Carter and had a daughter, Jemma Kiera.

In December 2011 Wakeman married for the fourth time to journalist Rachel Kaufman, and the couple are still together living happily in Norfolk.

If a colorful love life was not enough, Wakeman has also had his fair share of health scares as a result of his boozy youth and rock n roll lifestyle.

Speaking to the Mirror, he said: “When I drank, I drank like a fish. I didn’t have one keyboard – I had 36.”

By the time he was 25 he had three heart attacks, the first coming after a gig in Crystal Palace in 1974.

Later his doctor told him he’d probably already had two other minor heart attacks which he might not have noticed.
