Lucy Fallon has said her ‘jaw dropped’ when she saw her former Coronation Street co-star’s latest Instagram snaps. Ellie Leach took to the social media platform to share some glam images of herself at The Blues Kitchen in Manchester.
She was at the bar and club venue as it marked a year since it opened in Quay St. After finishing up there, Ellie and one of her best friends continued their night at Yours in Deansgate. But that wasn’t before she updated the ‘Gram.
The actress, who plays Faye Windass in the ITV soap, looked stunning as she headed out in a black mini dress that featured a cross-over neck detail at the front. Ellie beamed for the camera showing off her pearly white TV that had been accentuated by a pop of firey red lipstick.

Another photo showed the Bury TV star sipping on a drink as her curled brunette locks were swept across one shoulder. “@theblueskitchenmcr 1st Birthday,” she captioned the post before quickly being flooded with compliments.
Lucy, who played Bethany Platt in Corrie from 2015 to 2022, was the first to hit the comments section. ” Oh my god my jaw is on the floor,” she wrote before posting again, simply writing: “Unreal!”
Another former co-star, Alexandra Mardell who plays Ellie’s on-screen flatmate Emma Brooker, commented: “Goooooorjjjj.” While Brooke Vincent, who is best known for playing Sophie Webster in the ITV soap and also happens to be Ellie’s real-life cousin, also added a string of love heart eye emojis to the post.
And fans were also sharing compliments with Ellie. @joannerawsthorne said: “Looking beautiful Ellie.” @jamiemabon007 wrote: “Absolutely Gorgeous!!”
@nush2908 commented: “Absolutely stunning as always.” @mammasteve replied: “Swit Swoo Ellie!” @angelawils78 shared: “Love red lip on you.”
While Ellie was enjoying her Friday night out in the city, her on-screen character was still coming to terms with her early menopause diagnosis. Last month Faye thought she had found out she was pregnant. As she and her boyfriend Craig Tinker got used to the idea of being parents, the Underworld worker thought she was suffering a miscarriage.
However, when at the hospital she was told there was no baby, and that she was never pregnant. Upon nurses advice, Faye went to see her GP for her and in the medical center Dr Gaddas broke the news to Faye that she’s suffering from early menopause and she would never be able to have any more children unless it was with a donor. Dr Gaddas told her that she had premature ovarian failure, which means the ovaries can no longer produce eggs.
In this week’s episodes of the Salford-based soap, viewers have watched Faye struggled with her symptoms while reluctant to accept any hormone replacement treatment. During Friday nigth’s trip to the cobbles, Faye and Craig were seen trying alternative remedies until his mum de ella Beth Sutherland stuck her nose in de ella.
