The Provincial Treasury has redoubled its efforts in the digitization process for this Income 2020 campaign, which will end on July 16.

The Income Campaign 2020 from Álava starts today, Wednesday, and will end on July 16th. The Provincial Treasury has redoubled its efforts in the process of digitizing the Income Tax return, which this year will reach 132,800 Alava and Alava, a total of 73% of the returns.

This has been explained by the provincial deputy for Finance, Finance and Budgets, Itziar Gonzalo, in the presentation of the Income 2020 campaign “in order to make the declaration easier and safer, in a time in which we all live an exceptional moment as a consequence of the pandemic and the necessary measures to protect the population “, explained the provincial deputy.

One of the novelties of this year is the incorporation to Rentafácil of people who live in rent and also those who have a rented house, who will be able to complete their declaration on the regional website by entering the data related to the house, income from the lease or deductions for the rent.

Clave BAK

The deputy has encouraged the Alava society to use the BAK code so that taxpayers can make the declaration from their homes through the page.

Currently, more than 70,000 people use the BAK key in its relationship with the Provincial Treasury. To facilitate access, the Provincial Treasury will include the activation code in the notification letter that it will send to Alava taxpayers.

In order to strengthen data protection this year a warning letter is sent instead of the proposals and tax data. With the introduction of your ID and the amount indicated in the notice, you will be able to accept the settlement, consult the statement and receive within 48 hours the amount to be returned by the provincial treasury.


To make the online declaration, Rentared, just download the help program and identify yourself by means of an electronic certificate or by entering the BAK key. With a single click, the declaration is made automatically with the data held by the Provincial Treasury and it only remains to contemplate the information and send it.

Face-to-face service in offices

The face-to-face care will be maintained, respecting the sanitary security measures, at the offices of the Hacienda Foral in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Llodio and Laguardia. As in previous years, all taxpayers may go to the offices, except those who have carried out economic activity, who have sold their habitual residence or carried out more than three real estate or share sales operations.

Neither can those who have sold shares in unlisted mercantile companies, who have obtained real estate capital income from the rental of fish markets and tourist apartments, or who have received full income from work greater than 80,000 euros, may make their declaration at the tax offices.
