Food warnings and more Kinder recalls issued by Tesco, Asda, Aldi and Iceland

Tesco, Asda, Aldi, Iceland and other major supermarkets have issued a number of food warnings.

Salmonella, E. coli and bits of plastic or metal were the reasons behind some of the safety notices.

Chief among them is an extension of Kinder product warnings after dozens of Salmonella cases were linked to the Surprise eggs in the lead up to Easter.

Parents have been warned not to give their children Kinder Surprise eggs due to the mass outbreak.

Customers are urged not to eat recalled items, but instead return them to stores for a full refund, Liverpool Echo reported.

You do not need to have your receipt to get your money back.

When a product is recalled, for any reason, the Food Safety Agency (FSA) shares details on what you should do if you have bought the item, as well as detailed information on why the product is being pulled from shelves.
