Within the framework of the campaign #EKIN_clima that EITB has launched before on the occasion of the climate emergency and the Glasgow COP26 world summit, the program “Eguraldia” has hit the streets this Friday to collect first-hand what are the doubts of citizens about the impact of climate change on their lives.
Ana Urrutia, Andoni Aizpuru, June Ansoleaga and several more members of the “Eguraldia” team have been in Durango It is Friday, October 22, at the plaza Ezkurdi. There, they have collected in images the citizens’ questions and during the 12 days that the Glasgow Summit lasts, they will answer all the doubts with the collaboration of experts in the field.
Climate change is present in the “Eguraldia” space throughout the year and, how could it be otherwise, around the COP26 Summit this topic will reach special prominence and relevance.
In this sense, and on the occasion of this campaign, “Weather” has launched the initiative Faced with climate change, what corner would you save?, in which he invites the audience to send pictures of their favorite corners. Precisely those photographs, along with images created for the campaigns #EKIN_clima and the most spectacular images of “Natura Bizia” will dress the façade in a video mapping which will be screened on the façade of the EITB headquarters in Billbao from November 5.
#EKIN_clima
EITB joins the cause of the climate emergency on the occasion of the Glasgow COP26 world summit, which will take place from November 1 to 12, launching a great communication campaign and actions in all its means under the motto #EKIN_clima. This great action to raise awareness and initiatives in the face of the challenge of climate change will be the Audiovisual Group’s contribution to this social cause that affects us and concerns us all. It is the first great cause of the initiative #EKIN_, with which for the next few months EITB may focus on different causes that concern and affect Basque society, as is the case of the climatic emergency. #EKIN_, together with the chosen cause, will be the common concept in all these campaigns, thus emphasizing the need to act to transform and improve our society.
Starting this weekend, and coinciding with the celebration on October 24, International Day Against Climate Change, EITB launches a great campaign with initiatives on the street and by bicycle, documentaries and short films, premieres of new spaces, special programs, and even the video mapping on its façade, an initiative that, under the motto #EKIN_clima, will culminate with the Summit on Climate Change in Glasgow.
