These include FW Murnau’s silent masterpiece Nosferatu, Bill Gunn’s Ganja & Hess and the iconic action-horror Blade.

Dundead programmer Michael Coull said: “Our last full festival line-up was in 2019, so it’s really exciting to see Dundead back at its full strength – hopefully Dundead audiences have missed us as much as we’ve missed them.

The UK Premier of disturbing and beautiful Latvian horror Upurga will also be shown.

“As our tenth festival, there’s something for all kinds of horror fans in this year’s program – it’s a suitably eclectic line-up!

“There’s no substitute for the cinema experience, and I think that’s especially true for a festival like Dundead, where audiences can see previews and premieres for films which probably won’t be getting full cinema releases in the UK, and of course, see some cult favorites from years gone by, back on the big screen.

There’s a sense of community that comes with horror that I think is really special and if you have never been to any Dundead events before but are considering coming along, we’d love to see you!”
