The cumulative incidence grows 127 points since the last report and stands at its highest value since the start of the pandemic: 911.3 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, surpassing the peak of the third wave (900 cases) that occurred in January 2021. All the territories of Spain except Castilla-La Mancha (428.6 cases) are at a very high risk level for this indicator, according to the traffic light of Health.

The masks are once again mandatory outdoors, unless sports are practiced alone or walking through natural areas.

The omicron variant is spreading throughout the world and in some countries it is already the dominant one. The new coronavirus exceeds 5.3 million deaths and has already infected more than 277 million people all over the planet.
