The incidence of the coronavirus continues to increase and in most of the autonomous communities New Year’s Eve has been celebrated with restrictions after a new record of daily cases has been registered since the start of the pandemic. The virus transmission rate has risen almost 267 points in the last day and they are already detected 1,775.27 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, according to the latest report from the Ministry of Health. The authorities have notified 161,688 new infections and 74 deaths.
Immunization with the vaccine, which in Spain began to be administered a year ago and this month they have begun to receive children between 5 and 12 years of age, means that the number of cases does not correspond to a similar increase in admissions and deaths.
