A Christmas family snap of the Cambridges and their kids has led to royal fans quickly picking up on the likeness that Princess Charlotte has for her great gran the Queen.
William and Kate released the photo on Friday afternoon with their three children and Charlotte quickly went viral as people saw the similarity to the Queen, even in the way she posed.
The six-year-old was sat beside her father Prince William while her two brothers, Prince George, eight, and Prince Louis, three, were sitting nearer to their mum, reported OK!
Unlike in previous years for Christmas photos the family were not dressed formally but had summer outfits on.
“Delighted to share a new image of the family, which features on this year’s Christmas card,” wrote the Cambridges.

Princess Charlotte wore a blue gingham-patterned dress for the shoot and looked serene in front of the camera with her hands crossed in front of her and her long hair swept to the side.
Fans quickly picked up on Charlotte looking a lot like her great grandmother, the Queen, and even had Her Majesty’s typical pose.
“What a handsome family. You can really see Queen Elizabeth in Princess Charlotte,” one person wrote on Twitter.
“Charlotte is such cute princess, she is a the mini version of the Queen,” a second follower commented, while another added: “Charlotte is the image of the Queen. Adorable.”
The Mountbatten-Windsor family photo comes days after Kate hosted the charity carol event, Together at Christmas, held at Westminster Abbey in honour of those who have given their support to communities in need during the pandemic.
It was a rare occasion where Kate was seen at a public event with the rest of her family including her parents and brother and sister.
The Cambridges’ kids were not at the event and a royal expert said they do not like to put them on ceremony at public occasions.
“The reality is that William and Kate have a rule that they do not take the children on any official engagements,” said Duncan Larcombe about their absence at the carol event earlier this week.
“It was on a school night and they are pretty strict. The children are in a rather strict regime so that might have been the reason, but the fact it was a televised official engagement shows that William and Kate are still reluctant to focus too greatly officially on their family and their children.”
