The Boxing Day sales are now in full force, and Brits can get up to 70% off at many stores – including Argos, B&M, Matalan and more.

The sales which start on December 26 are traditionally the busiest shopping event of the year.

This year is no exception, with shoppers expected to spend £247 each on average – up from £162 last year, according to credit card firm Barclaycard.

However, many of us are shopping online in the sales instead of taking to the high street.

Trips to physical shops in high streets, shopping centres and retail parks are down more than 45% on pre-pandemic levels, according to retail analysts Springboard.

Here are some of the top Boxing Day sales deals we’ve spotted today.
