BBC Strictly Come Dancing’s Janette Manrara reveals show’s future decision on ITV This Morning

Janette Manrara has addressed her Strictly Come Dancing future during an appearance on This Morning.

The professional dancer turned presenter was on ITV’s daytime show to chat with Phillip Schofield and Rochelle Humes about the Strictly live tour.

Janette is currently on tour with her fellow BBC One dance competition stars as they bring all the glitz and glamor to stages across the country.

Strictly 2021 stars Rose Ayling-Ellis, Sara Davies, John Whaite, Rhys Stephenson and Tilly Ramsay, as well as 2020 alumni Max George and Maisie Smith are part of the show, as are professional dancers from the hit show.

Judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli are also taking their seats on the judging panel to deliver their verdicts in front of a live audience.

And after trading the Ballroom for the Strictly spin-off It Takes Two, Janette was cast as host of the series of live shows.

Appearing on This Morning, Phillip asked Janette how she had given up dancing to become a presenter. “The dance was difficult,” she answered.

“Obviously I’m going to ‘keep dancing’ as they say. That’s never going to go away.

Janette currently hosts the Strictly Come Dancing Live tour.

“But I felt right at home on It Takes Two. I remember my makeup artist, Summer, when I was about to leave for my first show, she was like, ‘You don’t seem nervous at all.’

Phillip then asked her if she would go back to being a professional dancer at Strictly.

Janette will dance again with her husband Aljaz

“No, I don’t think so now,” the 38-year-old said. “It Takes Two is my new home and I am very happy there.”

Janette, however, will soon return to performing on stage alongside her husband, Strictly star Aljaž Škorjanec.

The couple will perform their Remembering the Oscars tour in March after it was canceled twice due to the coronavirus pandemic.
