Ayr horse racing tips and best bets for Lingfield, Thirsk, Southwell and Windsor

The Punchestown festival takes center stage this week but there’s plenty of racing action in the UK.

And our man Garry Owen will be bringing you his best horse racing tips ever day.

EBONY MAW (2.50) can make a winning start for Ewan Whillans on Ayr’s first Flat meeting of 2022.

The five-year-old showed some extremely respectable form for Ger Lyons over the past two seasons.

The gelding has been handed an inviting mark for his UK debut so he can deny some exposed rivals.

STRONSAY (2.15) can shade the trappy Racing TV Handicap for ultra-shrewd Liam Bailey.

The sprinter should relish returning to six furlongs after his fair comeback sixth over five at Thirsk.

CALL ME GINGER (3.25) can enhance Jim Goldie’s tremendous record at the Craigie venue.

Secret Gesture is ready to impress

The gelding put in a career best when edging Be Proud in last year’s Bronze Cup over track and trip.

The speedster has held his form well since and should be primed after a fair return at Musselburgh.

TADITA TWITCH (4.00) can extend Ed Dunlop’s flying start to the season in the maiden handicap.

The filly looks nicely unexposed after her excellent second to Summer’s Day
at Brighton in August.

AMOURIE (5.00) makes plenty of appeal for skilled Ron Craggs in the staying handicap.

The mare ran another stormer when bolting up from Gold Standard over 1m 4f at Wolverhampton.

The six-year-old was doing all her best work late so she should shrug off a 4lb higher mark up in trip.

MOSTALLIM (4.10) can complete a hat-trick for in-form Michael Appleby at Southwell.

The gelding looked better than ever when decisively defeating True Mason
at Newcastle.

The five-year-old remains well-treated so he can defy a 2lb rise back over seven furlongs.

PHOENIX AQUILUS (5.40) can rise to the challenge for Seamus Durack in the two-miler.

Impressive here in January, the gelding improved again when second to Aljarayaal at Lingfield.

That form is working out well so this progressive type can make light of a reasonable 2lb hike.

RUN THIS WAY (7.05) is the path to profit in the trappy bettingsites.ltd.uk Handicap at Thirsk.

Paul Midgley’s filly looked a sprinter to follow when cosily denying After John over track and trip.

The four-year-old scored with plenty in hand so she should follow up for her thriving connections.
