It’s always best to check opening times before you head out for a grocery shop over the holidays. New Year’s Day, January 1, is officially a Bank Holiday in England and Wales, so many stores may be operating on reduced hours.
If Asda is your preferred grocery shop, New Year can be busier than usual in the stores with the start of January sales, as shoppers rush to get discounted deals on clothing, homeware and other selected appliances.
The hours can vary from shop to shop so those looking to pick up groceries at Asda can check full opening time details for their local branch using the Asda store locator tool.
