cube-shaped keyboard

We thought we’d seen it all when it came to keyboards, but this is the first time we’ve seen a cube-shaped keyboard. And it includes other surprises …

There are many types of ergonomic keyboards that have really curious shapes. Super Cuber X7 is not looking for ergonomics, but a different way to offer several peripherals in one. It is a bluetooth keyboard, but also a mouse, a wireless speaker, and an alarm clock. We have never seen these devices together in one …

The most curious aspect of this peripheral is the keyboard. It is a cube and the keyboard is divided into two s, and placed on two sides . the keys haven’t moved so they’re easy to find. The advantage of this, according to its creators, is that you have a full 87-key keyboard with large keys , but in much less space.

Take a look at this video to see how it works. There is a different function on each of the faces of the cube. Connects with PC or other device via Bluetooth 5.0 .

We have already talked about the keyboard. The most interesting thing is that the keys are large and quite far apart, so it is well typed. And we don’t need to prop it up on a table. But having to hold the cube with both hands you can only type with two fingers, similar to a mobile. It seems more suitable for typing short texts, such as messages, and not for working or studying.

On the other side of the cube there is a touchpad that acts as a mouse . Although the most practical element is that it takes advantage of the cube shape to also include a 5W wireless speaker. It also has a screen to be used as an alarm clock and radio. And it has an external battery function , albeit only with a 1,800 mAh charge.

It is a strange product, but on the other hand it incorporates some of the functions that many of us need when we use our mobile or laptop outside the home. Super Cuber X7 was priced at 48 euros in its Indigogo campaign , but we have not found it for sale, not even on its website .
